HyPERiON Summer School 2023

At the beginning of October 2023, we organised our first HyPERiON Summer School, located at Bad Liebenzell/Monbachtal. The event was divided into two sessions. The first session (01.10.-04.10.2023) was dedicated to our doctoral students, providing them with lectures about smart soft skills, such as scientific writing, and testimonials about career paths to industry or academia. The event was accompanied by a scientific poster session. The posters were presented by the doctoral researchers for each project of HyPERiON. The second part of the event (04.10.-6.10.2023) was the annual meeting of the full assembly of the HyPERiON consortium. A total of 47 participants attended the meeting. We were especially happy to welcome some of our newly installed Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) members for the first time. We thank you very much for the friutful discussions and your contributions!

Additionally, our doctoral researchers elected a new student committee, which will take over the responsibilities of the outgoing team for the next year.

A networking dinner and a hike in the Monbach Valley rounded off this year's programme. Many thanks to the organizers, lecturers, and participants of the Summer School 2023. Without them, clearly, this event would not have been so successful.
